General Lesson Information

Students may begin lessons at any time during the year. Our friendly education staff will be happy to help you find a suitable teacher and schedule to meet your individual needs.

We offer trial lessons for any student who wishes to consult with the various methods, styles, and different personalities of our many instructors. These teachers all share a common love for music and education, while they each display unique strengths, talent, and methodology with their lesson approach. Whether you're looking to learn the fundamentals of recreational music making, or to become a knowledgeable musician and serious performer, we have the right instructors on hand to help you reach your goals.

Single lessons $20 (trial or otherwise)

Enrolling for lessons is easy. You can call Ward-Brodt directly at (608) 661-8670 , sign up online at anytime, or come down and visit us in person. We do reserve time slots for a limited period of time, up to 2 weeks in advance in most cases. In the instance that your requested time or teacher is not immediately available upon sign-up, an active waiting list is maintained and we will notify you when your requested time becomes available.

Each lesson is one half-hour in length and is given in one of our nineteen studios. Full hour lessons may also be held if applicable teacher availability permits. Lessons are offered from 12p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 12p.m. to 6p.m. on Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Additional lesson times may be available earlier in the day, feel free to ask.

Students may discontinue lessons at any time with a required two-week notification of your leaving. This protects you from being charged for extra lessons. Please note that this does not apply to a trial lesson.

Monthly Tuition Fees:

There are no minimum number of months that you are required to be enrolled in lessons. However we do encourage that patience, persistence, and of course practice will achieve the best results. That's why we offer value packages for term enrollment of 4, 8, & 12 months at a time. These deals do change periodically so please give us a call to find out what our current promotions are.

Month to month tuition is certainly a valid option and our rates are listed below for the month to month tuition. (click on each tab for details)

Recitals

Two student recitals are scheduled over the course of the year and are showcased in our presentation room. All students are invited, but not required, to perform. Some of our teachers also schedule additional recitals featuring their own students throughout the year. Our recitals offer an excellent opportunity for students and parents to enjoy music in a performance setting.
